Los Dolses is a short walk down the road, again ... there is another commercial centre offering bars and restaurants along with a few shops.
For the shopaholics out there, Murcia has two large commercial centre's that you must visit, along with the main Habaneras shopping centre in Torrevieja, with more located in and around the many urbanisations between Villamartin and Torrevieja. Something typical of Spain that shoppers must visit are the local markets, the main two being Playa Flamenca each saturday and Torrevieja every friday. If you have transport, then Guardamar's market would also be a good one to visit.
The summers tend to be very busy, winters more calm and relaxed ... Villamartin is the perfect location to live, buy to let or simply for a family holiday home.
